Our food was delicious and came quickly. Especially the dessert created by the chef was a stunner! Corona rules were well organized and the staff were all very friendly. For me a highlight of our vacation :)

The beach house has been one of our favorite restaurants on Amrum so far. We are often on the island. After the change of owner 3 years ago, the equipment and the menu have been lovingly improved. Now in the Corona times, the friendly team is clearly overwhelmed, as it is clearly understaffed both in the kitchen and in service. It takes a long time before vacant tables can be filled again. The drinks come quickly, but the food has very long waiting times, this also applies to small dishes. We just wanted to eat the delicious bruscetta, but after 1 hour of waiting after our wine glasses were empty, we canceled it and left disappointed. The beach pirates in fog showed us today how to do it better. We fully understand the cost-cutting measures in corona times. However, this must not lead to the fact that so far very satisfied guests turn away. And unfortunately we are not the only ones who have had this experience. What a shame, a shame, a shame!

It was just underground. The food, cod fillet on Mediterranean vegetables and fried potatoes, was service station standard. Slapped so carelessly on the plate. The fried potatoes were burnt and the taste of the burnt potatoes ran through the whole dish. And that for a price of € 20 per dish. Doesn't work at all. You can only pay in cash. You discovered that on the menu by chance. If you have little or no money with you, you can first turn Süddorf into a bank and then back again. Doesn't work at all. Then the chef, who is also the cook, cleared away the glasses and dishes from the outside area and then disappeared back into the kitchen. Hygiene? Doesn't work at all. I could write more, but I'll leave that. Conclusion, the beach house won't see us again.

Delicious, tasty, pan fish with really first-class fried potatoes. It makes your mouth water. The other dishes looked great too. Super nice service. We will be back. Because today is not every day, no question about it!

We are always very happy to be in the Süddorf beach house. We are always welcomed very kindly. They have a good wine list and the food ... is absolutely delicious. When I think about it, the beach house has become our favorite place ... in recent years ... thanks for the wonderful moments ... we are looking forward to the next visit ...

Great location, friendly team and very good food with fresh and tasty ingredients. We got a table at noon with 5 people without a reservation. I find the bad reviews due to the staff completely incomprehensible.

Very nice location and super renovated. Unfortunately, smokers are no longer wanted outdoors. What a shame ... But there are other places where you can sit outside, drink a beer and smoke a cigarette.

The food is delicious, but the way the boss deals with her own service staff leaves a lot to be desired! A friendly and fair treatment of your own staff often works wonders! Then a lot will work better!

Friendly reception and service taking into account the Corona rules. Nice terrace and also very cozy inside. We went here 3 times during our vacation. Everything was very tasty and good portions. We wish you many happy guests.

We have been to the beach house three times in the past few days. It was always nice, the team, especially the boss, puts me in a good mood. The food is good too. You can tell that almost everything is freshly prepared here. A tip from me: The currywurst hot! The best currywurst I've ever got. The sausage is delicious (and sometimes no ham sausage, as is usual in the north). In addition, a definitely homemade tomato sauce, super flavorful. We are coming again next year!

During a long bike ride we arrived at noon in Strandhaus South village and it was really excellent. The front terrace was fairly crowded with about 20 guests, who were served by two service staff. The us waitress was very fast and super friendly - immediately after the table occupation the menus were enriched and our drinks requests were received. On the food we had to wait about 25 minutes - that is for fresh preparation perfectly fine. The appetizingly prepared food (see photos) tasted very delicious. The fresh vegetables were crispy, the fried potatoes perfect and the fish absolute class. That it was not over-seasoned, as unfortunately in many other restaurants, I expect the kitchen high. The prices are appropriate to the quality. Conclusion: 100% recommendation!

Eat good. Currywurst spiced spicy, that's the way it should be. Potato soup with a good portion of crab, highly recommended
